Once in a Lifetime Opportunity
The trees are beginning to bud, flowers are blooming and things are just beginning to green up at the family of developments collectively referred to as The Oaks. We are working on Oak Pointe Lake now and plan to start on Oak Ridge Lake next. I can just visualize the blue water in the lake against the backdrop of lush green grass. Welcome to The Oaks Development Company blog! We are here to serve you as the leader in the luxury home market in Lawton, Oklahoma. Here, you will find the latest news on what is happening in our company, current trends in our local real estate and mortgage market and economic activity affecting Lawton Fort Sill.
The Oaks Development Company is a family owned and operated business consiting of a father/daughter team. My father, Ron Nance has been an integral part of the Lawton business community for over a quarter century. He bagan his career in the commerical real estate and earned the prestigious CCIM designation. His career in the development business began with Brentwood Addition. Brentwood Addition is now complete and he is focusing his energies on his capstone project, The Oaks. The Oaks Development Company begins with raw agricultural land and finishes with a turn key product.
The Oaks is a collection of neighborhoods in a quiet and desirable southwest corner of the city close to shopping, restaurants and hospitals. The Oaks will showcase two lakes flanking either side of the road entering the community. Oak Pointe lake is currently under construction and nearing completion. This lake will have private waterfront lots and will also have an area that is open for the entire Oaks community to enjoy. Oak Ridge Lake will showcase almost 2 miles of shoreline. This lake will be private to the homes surrounding it. Lots on the south side of OakRidge Lake will sit on a bluff with beautiful views towards the Wichita Mountains and down on the water below. As Vice President of Marketing, I oversee the marketing and sales for the company. My passion is working closely with our buyers and assisting them in finding the perfect home for their family. I have been around the development business my entire life and have developed a deep love for architecture and design. During college I studied abroad in Barcelona and and spent a lot of time traveling throughout Europe. While there, I developed a love for the Old World European styles. I have taken those ideas and incorporated them throughout our homes in The Oaks. Our goal is to create a community with timeless appeal.
